To help in planning your vacation getaway while in New Brunswick, we've provided links to some of the main attractions within a short distance of Innisfree, including the Hopewell Rocks, Fundy National Park and Cape Enrage to name just a few.

The Hopewell Rocks:  Explore the ocean floor and view the majestic Flower Pot Rocks at the site of the highest tides in the world.  The "Rocks", as they are locally known are just a kilometer down the road from Innisfree.

Other Local Attractions all within 1/2 hour of Innisfree.

Fundy National Park: Enjoy a variety of inland and coastal trails, multiple waterfalls, wildlife and the seaside village of Alma.

Cape Enrage: Expansive views from mainland New Brunswick's oldest lighthouse built in 1848 atop 150 foot cliffs.  In 2005 voted "Number 1 view in Canada" by Frommers.

Mary's Point: Designated hemispheric shorebird reserve considered the ultimate destination for spotting Atlantic shorebirds.

Museums:  The Albert County Museum, W.H. Steeves Museum , Salem Hillsborough Railroad, The Old Bank Museum and the Riverside Consolidated School.

Covered Bridges: A variety of covered bridges all located within Albert County.

Golf: A variety of courses close by.

Moncton: Fine dining, theatre, shopping, museums, Farmer's Market, festivals, Magnetic Hill.

Winter Activities: Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.

Hiking and Cycling Trails: The Trans-Canada Trail, The Dobson Trail, Crooked Creek, Hillsborough Wetland Park and a variety of other "off-the-beaten-path" hikes.

Outdoor Activities: Sea kayaking, rock-climbing, rappelling, caving and horseback riding.

Fundy Studio Tour: Visit an eclectic mix of local artisans along our country roads.

Quilters: There are several local quilters along our route, 2 whom we highly recommend,  Sylvia Stevens (across the road from us) and Marjorie Henwood (5 minutes west of us).  Both ladies organize the Lower Cape Quilt Show which is the first weekend in August.
