To help in planning your vacation getaway while in New Brunswick, we've provided links to some of the main attractions within a short distance of Innisfree, including the Hopewell Rocks, Fundy National Park and Cape Enrage to name just a few.

The Hopewell Rocks:  Explore the ocean floor and view the majestic Flower Pot Rocks at the site of the highest tides in the world.  The "Rocks", as they are locally known are just a kilometer down the road from Innisfree.

Tidal Predictions for the Hopewell Rocks: Click on this link and then select the dates you will be staying with us.  After clicking on 'query' to update, the site will automatically revise the times and measurements of both high and low tides for a 7-day period.

Fundy National Park: Enjoy a variety of inland and coastal trails, multiple waterfalls, wildlife and the seaside village of Alma.

Cape Enrage: Expansive views from mainland New Brunswick's oldest lighthouse built in 1848 atop 150 foot cliffs.  Voted "one of the best views in Canada" by Frommer's travel guide.

Mary's Point: Designated hemispheric shorebird reserve considered the ultimate destination for spotting Atlantic shorebirds.

Hiking and Cycling Trails: The Trans-Canada Trail, Crooked Creek, Hillsborough Wetland Park and a variety of other "off-the-beaten-path" hikes. ***New for 2010: we are offering 2 brand new mountain bikes to rent for our guests only, please enquire for more details***

Outdoor Activities: Sea kayaking, rock-climbing, rappelling, caving, deep sea fishing, canoeing and horseback riding.

Museums:  The Albert County Museum, W.H. Steeves Museum , Salem Hillsborough Railroad, The Old Bank Museum and the Riverside Consolidated School.

Fundy Studio Tour: Visit an eclectic mix of local artisans along our country roads.

Covered Bridges: A variety of unique and historic covered bridges all located close to our home.

Moncton: Fine dining, theatre, shopping, museums, Farmer's Market, festivals, Magnetic Hill.

Quilters: There are several local quilters along our route, 2 whom we highly recommend, Sylvia Stevens (across the road from us) and Marjorie Henwood (5 minutes west of us).  

Golf: A variety of courses close by.

Winter Activities: Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
